Weeknotes #8

I’m afraid life has not been so eventful of late so the notes I make for myself get shorter still.

• Another week, another office covid scare 🦠 Luckily no one else was blighted by it which is luckier than usual because it was the work Christmas party this week.
• Got a haircut where I let the barber take the wheel and I’m happy I did 💇‍♂️
• There were a lot of emotions this week 😭
• The work Christmas party happened on a day where the temperature was easily in the low 30s. Not as high as Saturday where it was in the 40s and as our flat doesn’t have air-conditioning we had to grin and bear it in front of a fan 🥵
• The party was great. It was nice to socialise outside of work and get to know people better and I haven’t had such fun in a long time 😄 I even felt game to keep going afterwards but due to a multitude of issues it basically turned into an hour and a half of night walking. Drinking laws are a little weird here.
