Weeknotes #5 and #6

Sure they’re delayed but will they be good? No.

Week #5 was just a big, old sad blur. I had notes but I deleted them in a spur of the moment sort of deal and yeah, they’re gone now. I remember work being a lot lonely and an old injury playing up meaning I couldn’t exercise. Lame.

But week #6 was a bit better.

Personal

  • It was my four year anniversary with Thea. We go from our first date. It was a bit of a drab evening outside so we had to bail on our plan to go the beach so we got some takeaway, watched the telly and called it a night. But it was lovely ❤️ We also went out for lunch in the sweltering humidity on Sunday despite still feeling full from the Thursday night.
  • Doctor Who was back and I watched it in bed on Sunday morning and it was just really great to have an old favourite on again 🪛

Work

  • Best work friend Lily was back. Slay. 🤩
  • Got given some Lego roses to make for my three year work anniversary by other work friend Kate 🌹
  • We had a work thanksgiving and everyone brought in snacks. Thea made vegan butterfly cakes for me to bring in which were well received! However due to a covid scare in the office the day before the numbers were light (more for me) 🦋
  • But the pre-Christmas stress has kicked in so I ended up working late on Friday night and some of Saturday 😖 (but I have been told to take that time back so can’t complain).

Work and Personal smushed together

  • Do you know when’s a bad time to have the worst hay fever you’ve ever had? When someone in the office has recently had covid, that’s when. You would not believe how stressed I was. When I had covid for the first time in August it smashed me for two weeks and I am keen to not have that happen again anytime soon 🫠
  • I continue to struggle with the combination of my brain, people and work 🥲

Other stuff

  • It was proper humid hey?

Merewether Beach smothered in just thick, visibly humid air.
